    Kundan Meena Jewellery is one of the ancient forms of Jewellery which is crafted from purest form of Gold i.e. 24 Karat.

    KundanJewellery has stones set on one side and intricate enamel (Meena) on its reverse side. This Jewellery was made popular by Mughals. It is also known as Bikaneri or Jaipuri jewellery and Rajasthan is traditionally the main centre for its manufacturing.

    This course will cover the following aspects:

    • Preparation of frame or Ghaat according to selected Design.
    • Paadh procedure i.e. filling of wax or laakh in the frame.
    • Khudai and setting – fixing of gemstones or polki in the frame with silver foil.
    • Preparing design for enamel motif by using engravers.
    • Enamel work on the reverse of the jewellery piece.
    • Finishing and stringing.
