  THE WEDDING BELLS

Swarovski Design Awards – 2011 ( 'Jai Mala' )

It is said that the union of two souls is pre defined by the supreme power, now this I know for a fact.
My piece “The Wedding Bells" is a tribute to the most spectacular tradition of the society called " Marriage".
This has been conceptualised to bring together both Western and Indian cultures.
My piece is a unification of both cultures as well as two people who decide to live their life in submission to each other.
Therefore, my 'Jai Mala' , bonds them together, as we all would know 'Exchange of Jaimala' is an important custom of Indian Weddings.
